Pasteur Institute of India, Coonoor is one of the leading Institute in the production of Anti-rabies Vaccine for the Expanded Programme of Immunization of Govt. of India.

Applications are invited for the follwoing posts to be filled up on contract basis in the instutute.

• Senior Research Fellows (SRF) : 6 posts, Pay : Consolidated pay of Rs.6000/- PM.
• Junior Research Fellows (JRF) : 3 posts, Pay : Consolidated pay of Rs.4500/- PM.
• Duration : Duration of the contract shall be 2 years. This may be extended at the discretion of the competent authority. Selected candidates should be prepared to work round-the-clock, if required.
• Qualification : M.Sc. Microbiology/ Bio-Chemistry/ Bio-Technology for SRF and B.Sc. Microbiology/ Bio-chemistry/ Bio-Technology for JRF from a recognised university or Institution.
• Experience : 2-3 years in Quality Control an any vaccine manufacuturing unit.
• Age : 28 years (relaxation at the discreation of the comptent authority)
