Requires Veterinary/ AO Officers for its Affiliated Milk Unions

Number of Posts: (a) Veterinary Officers : 14 posts (UR-7,SC-3,BC-1,EBC-3), (b) AI Officer-1 (UR)

Location of Posts: Within the area of operation of milk union, Number of posts to be filled up for different milk unions are : Patna - 3 VOs, Barauni - 4 VOs & 1 AI officer, Mithila - 4 VOs, Tirhut - 2 VOs and Shahabad - 1 VO.

Qualifications & Experience : (a) Veterinary Officers - Should have BVSc. and AH degree from a recognised university / institute with minimum 55% marks. Post graduate qualification in Vety. Science will be an added qualification. Should have three years experience in farmers organisation / animal health / disease control and should be computer literate (b) AI Officer - Should have a BVSc. & AH degree from a recognised university/ institute with minimum 55% marks. Post graduate qualification in Gynecology & Obstetric / Artificial Insemination / Handling of Frozen Semen would be an added qualification. Should have three years experience in AI work and should be computer literate.

Pay Scale: Rs. 6500-10500/- plus admissible allowance and benefits as per the rules of Milk Union.

Job Requirement : The Veterinary officers and AI Officer will be responsible for the implementation of animal health care, AI and other TIP activities for enhancing productivity of milch animals in the dairy cooperative societies. They will also assist the milk union in the DCS supervision and milk procurement. Selected candidates will have to move in the field for not less than 20 days in a month. They will be reporting to P&I Incharges in the respective Milk Union.

Age : Preferably below 30 years as on 31st August, 2007 which will be relaxable for 3 years in case of BC/EBC and for 5 years in case of SC candidates.
