Engagement of Pilots on Contract Basis

JNPT intends to engage Pilots on contract basis on the following terms:

• Qualification : Certificate of Competency as Master (Foreign Going Ship) issued by Ministry of Shipping and one year experience as Chief Officer of Foreign Going Ships or Ex-Naval Executive Officer in possession of a Watch Keeping Certificate with minimum of 6 years sea service.
• Age : 45 years as on 1st July 2007, age limit is relaxable upto 5 years in case of SC/ST certificates & 3 years in case of OBC's. Age can be further relaxed for deserving candidates.
• Emoluments :
• Training : Rs.50000/-
• 10000 GRT : Rs.120000/-
• 15000 GRT : Rs. 120000/-
• 20000 GRT : Rs.130000/-
• 25000 GRT : Rs. 150000/-
• 30000 GRT : Rs. 150000/-
• 40000 GRT : Rs. 168000/-
• Period : Initially for 3 years and extendable upto another two years.

Please bring orignal testimonials in support of age, qualifications, experience and caste status, alongwith attested copies and two passport size photographs. Candidates working in Govt./ Semi Govt./ Other Major Port/ Public Sector undertaking should bring a "NOC"
