The Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI), Lucknow invites application in the prescribed proforma for the faculty positions:

1. Lower Division Assistant : 04 posts (SC-01,OBC-03), Pay Scale : Rs.4000-6000, Qualification : Graduate with knowledge of noting & drafting and 1 year experience in Govt., Semi Govt. organisation with knowledge of typing speed of 35 wpm in Hindi and 40 wpm in English and knowledge of Computer.
2. Assistant Accountant : : 05 posts (SC), Pay Scale : Rs.5000-8000, Qualification : B.Com. (55% & above) with accountancy with 2 years experience of accounts & knowledge of computer.
3. Store Keepr-Cum-Prrchase Assistant : 02 posts (SC-01,OBC-01), Qualification : Graduate in Science/Commerce (above 55%) with diploma in Material Management of two years duration, two years experience of store and knowledge of computers.
4. Librarian Grade-III : 01 post (SC), Pay Scale : Rs.5000-8000, Qualification : Graduate in Science with dgeree in Library Science with 2 years experience of acquisition of books/periodicals and documentation work. Typing speed of 30 & 25 wpm in English/Hindi. Knowledge of computer is essential.
5. Jr. Engineer (Biomedical) : 01 post (OBC), Pay Scale : Rs.5000-8000, Qualification : First Class Diploma in Electronics/ Bio-Medical Engineering from a recognised Institute/Polytech. with two years experience in a medical institution or reputed organisation.
6. Electrician Gr-I : 01 post (SC), Pay Scale : Rs.4000-6000, Qualification : High School with ITI Wireman license with 3 years relevant experience.
7. Horticulture Inspector Gr.II : 01 post (OBC), Pay Scale : Rs.4500-7000, Qualification : High School (Agriculture) with diploma in Agriculture from recognised Institute OR Intermediate (Agriculture)
8. Meidcal Record Technician : 02 posts (SC-01, OBC-01), Pay Scale : Rs. 4000-6000, Qualification : Graduate Degree/Diploma in Medical Record & knowledge of computers. In case candidates with Degree/Diploma are not avialable, persons with experience of working in medical records in a large hospital can be considered.
9. Receptionist : 02 posts (SC), Pay Scale : Rs.4500-7000, Qualification : Graduate with High Second class (above 55%) with one of the following subject - Social Work/ Sociology/Psychology with Diploma in Journalism/Mass Communication/Public Relation.
10. Driver Gr.II :01 post (SC), Pay Scale : Rs.3050-4590, Qualification : High School with light & heavy vehicle driving license with five years experience of driving.
11. House Keeper Gr.II : 01 post (SC-01), Pay Scale : Rs.3200-4900, Qualification : Diploma in Catering or Hotel Management or House keeping with 3 years experience in Guest House/ Canteen/ Hotel or similiar establishment.
12. Assistant Dietician : 02 posts (SC), Pay Scale : Rs.5500-9000, Qualification : M.Sc. (Food & Nutrition) from a recognised University/Institution (2) 02 years experience in the line, Preferably in a large teaching hospital.
13. Medical Social Worker Gr.II : 01 post (SC), Pay Scale : 5500-9000, Qualification : 1st or good 2nd Class Masters' Degree in Social Work/Sociology or Psychology. Preference will be given to those candidates who have an expericnce of similiar work in large teaching hopital.
14. Pharmacist Gr.III : 01 post (SC), Pay Scale : Rs.4500-7000, Qualification : Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognised Institute and with 3 years epxerience in the line in a large (more than 200 beded) hospital.
15. Technician Gr. II : 03 posts (SC-02, ST-01), Pay Scale : Rs.4500-7000, Qualification : (1) Intermedidate with Science (10+2) or equivalent (2) Diploma in Medical laboratory Techniques from a recognsied institute. (3) 1 year experince in Medical Laboratory OR Degree in Science from recognised university.
16. CSR Assistainnt Gr.I : 01 post (SC), Pay Scale : Rs.4000-6000, Qualification : 10+2 in science with Diploma in CSSD, failing wich 3 years experience in CSSD in large teaching hospital.
17. Dark Room Assistant Gr.III : 01 post (SC), Pay Scale : Rs.3050-4590, Qualification : Matric or equivalent. Diploma / Certificate in Radiology of one year.
18. Tradesman Gr.II : 02 posts (SC), Pay Scale ; Rs.2750-4400, Qualification : ITI in the required Trade with one year experience.
19. Hospital Attendant Gr.III : 08 posts (ST-02,OBC-06), Pay Scale : Rs.2550-3200, Qualification : VIIIth class pass from the recognised Institute. Preferably having experience in hospital.

Maximum age limit 40 years as on 01/07/2007.
