Pay scale:

1. Rs. 16400-22400/- for the post of Officers and Professors
2. Rs. 12000-18300/- for Readers
3. Rs. 8000-13500/- for Officers (7 & 8) and Lecturers
4. Rs. 2850-4400/- for all the posts of Non-teaching category

Age:

1. Below 55 years as on 01/07/2007 for posts in the scale of Pay of Rs. 16400-22400/-
2. Below 50 years and 40 years for the posts in the scale of Rs. 12,000-18300/- and Rs. 8,000-13500/- respectively
3. 18-38 years for the posts in the scale of Rs. 2850-4400/-

Interested candidates are to apply in the prescribed form obtainable from the office of the Registrar (Recruitment Section) either personally on any working day or by sending a self addressed stamped (of Rs. 5/-) envelop (20 cm x 11 cm) and on payment of Rs. 400/-, Rs. 300/- & Rs. 200/- and Rs. 150/- for the posts under Pay Scale of Rs. 16400--22400/- , Rs. 12000-18300/-, Rs. 8000-13500/- and below pay scale of Rs. 8000-13500/- respectively as non-refundable application fee in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of "Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya" payable at Cooch Behar, West Bengal. SC/ST candidates are to pay one fourth (1/4) of the above stated application fees.

The filled in application forms shall have to reach the Registrar's office (Recruitment Section) within 30/08/2007 and 13/09/2007 in case of candidates from abroad and outside the State. The application form may also be downloaded for use. However, no application in down loaded proforma without demand draft will be considered.
