• Scientist /Senior Scientist : 17 posts (09 current posts (UR-5,OBC-2, SC-1,ST-1), 08 backlog posts (SC-1, ST-2, OBC-5)), Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs. 6600/- for Scientists and Rs.7600/- for Senior Scientists, Age : 32  years for Scientists and 37 years for Senior Scientists as on 10/04/2012.

Application Fee : Rs.100/- (no fee for SC/ST/Women/PWD candidates)  in the form of DD in favour of Director, NISCAIR, payable at New Delhi.
