Eligibility Conditions:

• Age : Candidates to be born between 31 January 1992 to 30th January 1995 (both dates inclusive)
• Educational Qualifications : 55% or more marks in aggregate in 10+2/equivalent examination with complusary subjects Physics and Mathematics : optional subjects Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer Science.

Pay : PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs.2000 plus MSP Rs.2000 plus X group Pay Rs.1400 plus allowances.

Selection Criteria : Selection of recruits is based on the order of merit on their performance in Written test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in the Medical Examinations.

Staff Selection Commission will hold on 26/06/2010 and 27/06/2010, an examination for recruitment to the following posts:

• SAS Apprentices (will be appointed as Section Officer (Accounts)) : 453 posts (UR-231, SC-67, ST-33, OBC-122), Qualification : University Degree in Honours or MA/M.Sc./M.Com OR Diploma of Chartered Accountant and Costs and Works Accounts, Age : 18-27 years, Relaxation in age as per rules.,

Fee: Rs. 100/-. No fee for SC/ST/PH/Women and Ex-Serviceman. Fee will be paid only in the form of "Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS)" These stamps are available at the counter of all Departmental Post Offices of the country.

Closing Date: Last date for filling of the application is 27/04/2010 (5PM)  (04/05/2010 for the candidates of far-flung areas)
