Structural Engineering Research Centre (SERC) , Chennai, is a premier National Laboratory under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research. The Centre invites applications from highly qualified and motivated candidates for taking up R&D activities and also for providing engineering services to solve the problems of the industry and the society besides participating in the development of laboratory facilities.

• Scientist Gr IV (1) : 05 posts (ST-2, OBC-1, UR-2)
• Pay Scale : Rs. 8000-13500/-
• Age : Not more than 35 years (5 year relaxation to SC/ST and 3 years to OBC candidates)
• Qualification : First class B.E./B.Tech.in Civil Engineering or recognized equivalent qualification
  OR M.Tech./M.E. in Structural Engineering or recognized equivalent qualification. OR Ph.D in Structural Engineering

How to Apply : Application completed in all respect should be send upto 15th November 2007. Applications should be supported by attested copies of the certificates/testimonials relating to educational qualifications (including mark statements), date of birth, and experience and community certificate in respect of SC/ST/OBC candidates issued by the appropriate authority. Candidates should submit with each filled up application a Crossed Demand Draft for Rs.100/- drawn in favour of I.R.F, SERC payable at Chennai towards application fee. No fee for SC/ST candidates.
